- 1 kg minced beef or lamb
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 1 tablespoon turmeric
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon ground coriander
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 slices white bread, soaked in milk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds
- 2 tablespoons apricot jam
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups cooked yellow rice

Method
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Heat the skillet over medium heat and add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent.
- Add the minced beef or lamb to the skillet and cook until browned.
- Add the curry powder, turmeric, cumin, coriander, and sugar to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Crumble the soaked bread into the skillet and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and milk together.
- Add the egg mixture to the skillet and mix well.
- Stir in the raisins, slivered almonds, and apricot jam.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, until the egg topping is set and browned.
- Serve with yellow rice.
