- 1 packet sazon
- 2 cups beef broth

Method
- Heat the olive oil in a Dutch oven or heavy-bottomed pot over medium-high heat.
- Add the beef and brown on all sides, about 5 minutes. Remove the beef from the pot and set aside.
- Add the onion, green bell pepper, and garlic to the pot and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the tomato paste, sofrito, and sazon to the pot and stir to combine.
- Add the beef broth and diced tomatoes to the pot and bring to a simmer.
- Return the beef to the pot and stir to combine.
- Add the potatoes and carrots to the pot and stir to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Reduce the heat to low and cover the pot.
